Government approves Met request to ban Al Quds Day march
The government grants a request from the Metropolitan Police to ban a march due to take place in London on Sunday.

"I have approved the Metropolitan Police's request to ban the Al Quds march," Mahmood said in a statement.

"I am satisfied doing so is necessary to prevent serious public disorder, due to the scale … [+1887 chars]
